MIRA WORLD
VR MULTIPLAYER PUBLISHING PLATFORM | INTERACTION DESIGN | UX DESIGN
TECHNOLOGY: UE5 / Pixel Streaming / Perforce / 3DsMax / Figma
COMPANY: Mira (Garou, Inc.)
ROLE: Interaction Designer / Developer
Mira is a hyper-realistic experiential metaverse that bridges reality with virtual worlds.
Anchored in geography, Mira opens up new playgrounds at the crossroads of reality and magic, culture and entertainment, social networks and commerce. Mira engages users to explore, contribute, and socialize in the thrilling new territory of the 3D Internet.
Our team painstakingly built a high-fidelity prototype of digital twins based on the map of New York City and Paris aimed to showcase some of the most amazing creations built on Unreal Engine.
In addition to delivering stunning visual quality, we strive to make the user's experience delightful. In Mira, you can soar around the world with a jetpack, snap and share Polaroid photos with friends, or even engage in a bow and arrow shooting game. The magic of virtual worlds is not just in mimicking and enhancing real-life activities, but also in enabling experiences beyond imagination.
Besides the main platform development, I have been involved in creating experiences that enable brands to develop custom, handcrafted, 3D social worlds, seamlessly connecting the real and virtual realms.
We have worked on projects for luxury fashion brands, tourism, art exhibitions, chemical products, mechanical industries, and more. Whether the goal is to showcase products at private events to enhance engagement or to explore innovative methods for internal training, my team and I focus on understanding the client's needs and applying user-centered design principles to ensure every final product is vivid and enjoyable.
Whatβs cool about Mira World is that you can not only play it with your VR headsets but also with your PC and mobile devices in third-person view with the technology of pixel streaming.
This presents significant challenges for interaction design, as we must meticulously account for the unique characteristics of different devices while maintaining consistency. This process involves an extensive journey encompassing research, conceptual design, and prototyping.
